O thou invisible spirit of wine, if thou hast no name to be known by, let us call thee devil.
...William Shakespeare

I went to a wonderful party last night, ate too little and drank too much wine.

Today I've spent napping and reading stupid stuff on the internets.

In fact, while looking for a quote for this post I had a hard time deciding between Will Shakespeare and Fran Lebowitz.

I feel like my prize from the blogger weekend.

It's an indecisive day.

Great people talk about ideas, average people talk about things, and small people talk about wine.
...Fran Lebowitz

We're coming to Merida on May 1 and I'm concerned about the flu outbreak, but don't want to cancel our trip. Do you know if there have been any cases in Merida?

Thanks!

I'll be honest with you Kimberly, I wouldn't fly right now but then I always get sick when I fly because of the recycled air in planes.

There has been at least one person ill who got sick at Chichen Itza and is in the hospital in Valladolid. He was part of a French tour and they had been in Mexico City.

Considering the number of tourists who fly through here I'm sure there will be cases on the peninsula. Whether there will be many in Merida I don't know. They are starting to cancel events and I am starting to see masks of people.

I understand that airlines will now let you change or cancel flights without penalty. I would probably cancel, but as I said, I don't trust airline air cleaning.
