I just had to add some more kitteh cuteness pictures. The first 2 I took through the screen door so they are odd looking but I loved her in the candle pot and with her tongue out at Cuba.

Here are some more of her in her cardboard shanty, uh oh! I think she stopped at the bar in front, she looks a little drunk.

Oh No! She's driving!

She is a good Yucateca and loves laying around in the hammock.

This is my favorite.

That cat slays me. The upside down head coming out of the box is too much!

Nermal! Thanks for the link Lisa, you had said that when here but I forgot who Nermal was until I saw the link. Yeah! She's Nermala!

I think she seems to be a kitten longer because she was so young when we got her. She was no more than 2 weeks old, we've been feeding her kitty formula by bottle since then. She still takes about one bottle a day, we're letting her wean herself.

They told us to pick a birthday in the first week of May so we picked 5th of May. That makes her about 9 weeks old now? Dr Nelson said for us to wait another 3 weeks before fixing her. She will also get her 2nd round of shots then.

She is the fountain of cute but she's also the unstoppable zooming machine about the time you want to go to bed. She only lets us pet her when she is hungry or sleepy, the rest of the time she just attacks your hand and wants to play/fight with it. We started worrying about her aggression - plus we are both covered in scratches and bites - so we've got the squirt gun and we're trying not to let her bite us anymore.

A princess can never be disciplined. I think that is in the royal handbook somewhere.

Wayne is right. It's like she poses for the camera. You are lucky to have such sweetness.

When our dogs were puppies we put a couple of pennies in an empty coke can and shook it when they bit. Really distracts them without water everywhere.

Jonna,
Tita is sooooo cute! It makes me wish we could have another litter of kittens around here. :)

I've read your entire blog now, and I can't wait for your next house update (although the pictures and narrative about Tita are great, too...as are your travels...and the living in Mexico thing...and, I think you get the idea.) :)

I just love the catshanty behind the bar, very clever.

I now know of two mexicana kittens taken from the street/wilds and reports are pretty much the same for both - adorable to the max but holy terrors about the snuggle, sweet thing.

ah Steve, I think Tita has the same royal handbook. She is so irritated when we squirt her or thwap her nose for biting. She always gets in one last paw swipe before jumping away.

It does seem to be working a little, I think if we are persistent about not letting her bite, she'll eventually concede. I only use the water pistol for things like eating my plants and climbing the screens, you know water sprayed around in a beach condo or anywhere this hot doesn't really matter. I think she'd just love the can with the pennies in it.

Hey Sandye! It's great to see you here. I'll get the house pics up soon, I'm all wrapped up in playing with my iPhone now.

Oh Debi, I sure hope that she is the exception and doesn't stay a terror. Theresa gave us a clicker to train the dogs but I'm going to try it on her too.
