Hmmm. Where could Jonna be? Here is a hint, see if you can figure it out.
Yesterday was July 11 th. Something happened all over the world yesterday. Do you know what?
Are you a gadget freak like my honey?
I'll bet some of you, know where she is. Those of you who can't figure it out, stay tuned.

Could it be that the much anticipated arrival of the Apple iPod, that people stood in long lines for, only to realize that there are many bugs in the system that won't allow you to use the darn thing?
Respectfully,

That would be my guess too. The iPhone from Apple.
I know, I know! She was at my house drinking coffee! LOL.....

DING DING DING
Ladies and gentlemen we have our selves some winners!
Teresa, I should have said in the post that you were disqualified Hehehehe
We went after we left your house, they said manana, then called an hour later.
I have one happy lil geek on my hands!
hey!!! I'm sending this from my new iPhone! It's very cool & there were no registration problems here in mexico that I could tell. It took an xtra day for me because I had to set up a new account with Telcel and my US credit card - that took an xtra day.
I'm writing this from my iPhone. It's going to take some time to get my fingers used to the keyboard but I love it so far.
Hey jonna call me, and give me the new phone number.
regards,
Theresa
Hey Gadget Queen, do you now feel more connected to us here in Mexico who are just railing at C____ S___m and how much money Telcel sucks out of all of us every month? I keep threatening to change over to USACell but they are not much different. Sure wish Skype worked better!!!!
KK
OOH, I'm jealous! I want a full report.

I knew it was the new iPhone before I read the comments. I was just at the mall today, and there was a line to the Apple store wrapping all the way around the upper level! Goodness, people are persistent.
Full story follows. Yes, KK, I DO feel more connected! I know that we all love to hate Señor Slim but in this instance I'm a lot happier with him and Telcel than I would have been with ATT. I really, really hate ATT.
One thing about a monopoly, Telcel has much better coverage than Movistar or Iusacell (can't remember its real name) at least down here. If you stay in a city then you will have good coverage with any of them but Movistar is mainly in the north I think and Iusa in the south.
I'm sorry but I'm not standing in line for 3 days for another new and improved gadget just to have it not work right because they don't have all the bugs out of it yet. Once it works good and the price drops, then I'll be at the mall getting mine.
I'm sorry it is like that where you are. I certainly didn't stand in line for 3 days, it is working perfectly right out of the box, and I have not encountered any bugs. Oh, and the price is about half what the first iPhone cost and I paid even less than the US cost. So, none of those things are true here or for me. Frankly, I don't think they are that bad even in the US but I have no experience with it there.
