We are off to Merida. We had a wonderful surprise visit from Cancun Canuck and family today, Max was as cute as ever and his dad was having a great Father's Day. As you can see in the upper corner, Pasty Girl is still trying to do something about that horrid paleness and not get carried away by the ants.
Right before they got here, the workers who made our new shutters for the bedroom arrived to install them. They really are beautiful and they fit well so I think we will be able to turn the AC on in that room and actually cool it. Also, it adds some privacy when there are other people staying here.
I'm really pleased with his work, if I get it together to re-do the kitchen here I will have him do the cabinets.We're not taking the RV on this trip, we will be staying at the lovely B&B, Luz en Yucatan.
It should be fun to see the changes, we've been gone almost a month now. Henry says things are really moving and they are about to start tiling the floors upstairs. I'm sure I'll have lots of house pics soon.

We had such a great time with you guys! You're new doors look terrific, you're place is gorgeous, you have fine taste in art and animals. Thanks so much for your hospitality, we will be visiting again if you can bear another whirlwind of Mr. EnergyMax and his amazing bouncing head! I've posted photos of our visit, well, mostly fish photos, but the one of you both with Max is great. Thanks again ladies!
Well, Jonna, when you posted the first pics of Tito I thought--jeez, I'd like to have another one of those.
Now you've posted the pic of MAX! You can carry this thought to its logical (ha) conclusion. Thank god I'm too old for one.
