Tito is really Tita! Here she is with Mimi and her vet Nelson, he is the one that broke the news to us that our Tito is a girl. Luckily, my friend Cristina had prepared us for this by writing me that Tita is a perfectly good name - just in case - and was the name of the kitchen maid in Like Water for Chocolate. So, Tita she is.
She was a great little traveler. We came over in the Jeep and she slept most of the way and then kept us up pouncing on our heads last night.
Today we took her to vet in just her harness and leash and she was not at all scared. She spent most of the ride up on the window watching everything. I took these pictures with my cell phone while driving. We were at the house this morning, I took some pictures but don't have time now to go through them. It's looking great, still a long ways to go though.
This afternoon we met with Henry for several hours and we are meeting him at the house in the morning. Hopefully, I'll have some better pics and can post them tomorrow night.
I wasn't all that happy with the ones I took today on a quick look at them. It's very hard to get perspective, the rooms are large but they don't show up well. Mimi says it is the lens on the camera, that I need a wide angle. Well, I'll try again tomorrow or maybe get her to take some.

I'm really looking forward to your house pictures!
And Tita is a sweetheart, you guys really have a talent for picking animals (or maybe they have the talent for picking you?)
I agree with Nancy. I need a house picture fix. Now that I am starting to seriously look at housing for my move, anything that looks like a room is fodder for contemplation.
Just look at Tita! How cute!
LOL, too funny. Our "Mimi" became "Ziggy" and Tito/Tita had a sex change too! Hmmm, with her behaviour, it really could be a Changa reincarnation. ;-)
Can't wait for a house report!
Have you tried using the stitch feature on your photo editing package? You can get great wide angle shots by stitching photos together.
Ok, I'm working on the house pics. I'll get them up later tonight I hope.
Wayne, no, I haven't tried stitching pics together. I'd have to figure that one out. It might be the best solution.
First it was Alma becoming Arthur, now Tito becoming Tita....what the heck is going on down there in MX? :)
We have an umbrella Cockatoo named Chewy....called him a "he" for 20 years. Then a couple years ago Chewy laid an egg! Still can't get ourselves to start calling him a "she"....
Tito/Tita...doesn't matter...still the cutest little thing...especially in that tiny harness!
That cat is so darn cute! I like the name Tita (I think some people use it as an endearment/diminutive term for grandmothers in Mexico);D
Fned.
Uff, the cat, the beach everyting just looks beautiful.
