I love this picture! I really, really love it!

Today was another vet clinic, this time in Cheymuyil, so last night Mimi and Paula's daughter Sandy were over there setting up.

Paula and I decided to go to the Buena Vida and sit out by the water where it was cool and have a few drinks.

Heh!

I really don't do this that often but I had way more than a few and we had a lot of fun. Luckily, I'm a happy drunk and according to Mimi I have nothing to be embarrassed about today. That's good because my memory is a little fuzzy on the later part of the evening. I definitely don't remember singing. It didn't help that I can't eat much and while I do remember having the soup that's about all I ate.

Mimi said there were 8 margaritas on the bill she paid at the end of the evening. I was also talking a lot about my chanclas for some reason. I recently bought some (flip flops in English) so I could get my toes used to the divided thing again and I wore them last night. I guess I was very proud of them, I don't know. Maybe it was just the sound of the word, I do like saying chanclas, it has a ring to it.

I woke up this morning at 8am when Mimi got up to go to the clinic but I did not feel good. I went back to sleep for a couple hours, laid around a couple more, turned the ac back on in the bedroom and took a nap. Oh, first I took all my vitamins and had a smoothie. I guess it worked as I feel fine now.

I'm posting a bunch of pet pictures. I've been ignoring my dogs of cuteness since that baby kitten ate up all the cute quotient.

This last one has the whole damn family on the bed that has become the dog's room. The AC is broken in there, we have to go to Cancun and get a motherboard for it so now, it's the dog's room. I just know that Tita is going to be one of those cats that thinks they are really a dog.

Wekk, it is good to see that Tia made it past the chew stick size stage of life. It looks as if the dogs are accepting her as just another member of the pack. I am always amazed at how fast cats grow.

OK. That is what I get for typing in the dark, again. The first word is supposed to be "Well," but I bet you figured that out already.

Actually, I was sitting here trying to sound it out when you posted again. I'm always trying to write out weird sounds and I was thinking wekkkkkk was a good one.

I love the chew stick analogy, I'm hoping that she just looks like one of the pack to the dogs too. I still don't leave them alone with her though, and I don't know if I will for a very long time.

Much better than the other way around! I've always been a dog person and never a cat person....but that cute little Tita is tempting me to re-think things.

Love the pet pics! Hope the clinic went well....

I love the way all four of them are just chillaxing on the bed... they look so at ease with each other... nothing like the way I used to hang out with my siblings... we'd fight all the time like.... well, like cats and dogs!

(sorry, I HAD to, it's Monday and I'm stuck in the office again, so give me a break!)LOL

Fned.

What a sweet little family you have. I love it when dogs and cats get along. In CA we had a cat named Pooz and he and Sofia used to have inter-species wrestling matches in the living room, much more entertaining than lucha libra.

I too like cats that think they are dogs, my beloved Po was like that. This little hellion is fearless, she goes after Cuba, the dobie, jumps up on whatever is available and baps her in the nose! Right now she is on the deck stalking the grackles that are as big or bigger than she is. I kind of worry that one will fly over and take her eye out or something.

There is a saying in Spanish that equates to 'fight like cats and dogs' ... damn! I can't remember it.

Jackie, that kitten is too cute. It's like a beefed up version of Tita. Also, nice pics of Portland, one of my favorite cities. Our good friends live in Vancouver WA, across the river so we are still up there at times.

If I didn't worry so much, watching this tiny kitten chase the huge dobie through the house would be pretty funny. Then, they turn around and Cuba chases Tita. It's just so out of scale.

OMG! You should have run a contest for people to caption that first picture. It is so adorable! (ugh! did I just say adorable! I should be beat with a kitty litter scooper for that!)

Taking Wayne up on his suggestion, the first thing I thought of when I saw the photograph last night was: "You're leaving me ALONE with the dogs?"

The first thing I though of was a line out of a movie. Kitty thinking, "Cats rule, dogs drool."
