I know, I know. No posts for 2 weeks and then 2 in one day. I just had to post some more pics, it is STILL snowing! Right now as I write this the thermometer on the door says 12*F. I think this may be the coldest weather I've ever been in, I don't exactly have a lot of experience with cold and snow since I was raised on a beach in SoCal and have never been interested in cold, snow, skiing, any of that. Kate got some of these pics of Mimi and I out her window, they are parked across from us.

We're all really glad that we decided to sit it out here with electricity, friends and all this solitude. Mimi has been checking the NM road page and I-40 is closed on both sides of us along with multiple closures heading out of Albuquerque north or south. I don't think we would have gotten far and we wouldn't have been nearly as comfortable. We are comfortable here, I'm impressed with our Lazy Daze and how warm it is staying.

I had to add this pic of the dogs, they have not moved much from this position. We did force them to go out after they ate and they ran around a bit but were anxious to get back inside and under the blanket.
