I haven't quite got the hang of posting often enough to keep the conversation going. I thought about going back and recreating, and I might still do that, but for now I'm just going on.
We are in Denver visiting Mimi's mom and for me to get a follow up mammogram. I got a call while we were at the balloon fiesta in Albuquerque that they wanted more pictures. It was an interesting logistical arrangement, I had to figure out the closest Kaiser (Colorado), get a temp Kaiser ID for that state, get an appt in Denver and get the films from NoCal sent here for the radiologist to read with the new pics. It was actually a lot easier to do than I thought it would be. Everyone I talked to was so helpful and it all got set up so easily that I got scared the other night that they knew something I didn't. I think it was just the late night willys, I've had to do this before and it was nothing so I'm going to assume it will be the same this time.
Today Mimi and I went with our friend Sarah to meet another friend Suzanne in Boulder to have lunch and shop for Crocs. These are the shoes I never want to take off and they originated in Boulder. There is a store there that claims to have the largest selection of Crocs in the country. 
Suzanne gave us a short tour around Boulder, up to an overlook and around some of the old neighborhoods. It's beautiful in Colorado right now, surely this is the most beautiful season of the year here. The colors of the trees just blows me away. There are such brilliant yellows, oranges and reds everywhere. Plus, the weather is spectacular! In the high 70's every day with nothing but sunshine.
Boulder's downtown pedestrian mall is really nice. The Croc store had a whole room with nothing but crayon color Crocs. I got my 4th pair and we got some for friends as well. This is Sarah trying to decide between yellow and purple.

Hey guys! Wanted to see how soon you notice you have a couple of comments; my daughter left one next to Hiccup's pix, check it out.
Just wanted to say how jealous I am you got to spend time with Suzanne, and I NEED some Croc's!
Update: (Long story made short; read the upcoming book and/or blog)new brakes on rear are great, new engine done in Portland, and solar panels, 2, added in Eugene with Heliotrope 22B AND a Link 10 sensor..man, am I so broke. I need more rich relatives to leave me money. But am I ready to RV!!!!
So, I'm wondering how ABQ went, and STILL jealous you're in CO, well, maybe not if temps are dropping. Now back in Chico with fam after two days kayaking the Klamath River with a new friend met staying at Trees of Heaven Park near Yreka.Where to next is anyone's guess, but I'm raring!
PS: Guess which Big Rig RV park is already looking for replacements to replace the replacements who replaced me??(Evil giggles galore)

I saw the comment from your daughter as well, that's pretty cool.
I'm going to put up some stuff on Alb, it was a great time and the balloons were fantastic.
Why am I not surprised that your replacements want out too?
