Travel notes from Mimi and Jonna
Salmon in the smoker. We've been fishing here in Sekiu for the last week. Mimi caught about a dozen salmon, we've smoked and canned some and frozen the rest.

We took a short drive up to Cape Flattery, the farthest north-west point in the continental US. It's gorgeous, cold and beautiful.

Since September of 2001, Mimi and I have lived in our 27' RV, Tortuga, spending winters in Mexico and Central America and summers in the US. We've had a condo on the Caribbean coast of Mexico, in Akumal, for over 10 years and in 2007 we bought a 100+ year old colonial in Mérida that we are starting to renovate. We lived with our 2 Yucatan beach dogs Hombre and Chica for 4 years and in October of 2007 we added another rescue, Cuba. It's getting crowded but once the house is done we will have lots of room, maybe too much room. I wonder sometimes if we will all get lost in so many rooms.
